Àdvanced and most accurate temperature calibrator series with the widest available temperature range. One of its great features is the patent pending DLC system for perfect temperature uniformity in the insert — even when calibrating large sensors or many sensors at a time. The RTC Series also feature inputs for intelligent reference sensor and sensor-under-test as well as active dual- or triple-zone temperature control that ensures excellent temperature homogeneity in the well. Seven models of RTC-R series calibrators cover the temperature range from –100 to 700 °C, while exhibiting up to ±0,04 °C accuracy and up to ±0,005 °C stability. More details are provided in the article prepared by Artvik company — the exclusive distributor of AMETEK Sensors, Test & Calibration company for over 25 years.

Signal integrity is the primary measure of signal quality. Signal integrity impacts all oscilloscope measurements. Oscilloscopes with superior signal integrity attributes provide a better representation of your signals under test, while those with poor signal integrity attributes show a poorer representation. This difference impacts engineers’ ability to gain insight, understand, debug, and characterize designs.

Fundamentally, jitter is any unwanted deviation in signal edge timing from where it should be. Jitter is a fact of life in the design of embedded systems and communication links. As such, for systems to operate reliably under a broad range of conditions, thorough characterization of jitter is a must.

Nowadays the market of isolation testers is very wide and various. These are compact handheld devices suitable for in-the-field operation that are usually equipped with multimeter functions and also benchtop models widely used to solve laboratory and production tasks. Model which this article is dedicated to belongs to the second group. AKTAKOM AMM-2099 is a high voltage insulation tester that can be used to measure isolation resistance of semiconductors and electrical devices in laboratory terms. AMM-2099 is capable of measuring resistance from 10 kOhm up to 100 TOhm with test voltage of up to 1000 V. At the same time the measurement of current leakage is taken at 100 pA to 1 mA range. More detailed parameters can be found in the present article.

The main target of Federal Law 102 dated from June 26, 2008 «On ensuring uniformity of measurements» is to protect the rights and legitimate interests of citizens, society and the government from the negative consequences of inadequate measurement results. Therefore there should be certain procedures controlling the measurements. Professor S. Levin dedicated the present article to the statistical procedure of control at high-precision measurements

The experiences made starting from 1986 up to 2014 showed that the estimations of the fundamental gravitational constant «G» have got different results. That could happen due to the incorrect confidential intervals taken which caused the discrepancy between the estimations. Further on such estimation discrepancy was called «metrological and scientific deadlock». Professor Levin S. suggests to take a closer look at this problem in the present article.

Practicing metrologists often do not have enough examples of the reference documents use to solve their measurement tasks. One of such tasks is the calibration of measuring devices. The difficulty is caused by National State Standard 8.820–2013 which equaled different accuracy standards like uncertainty of measurement, precision and inaccuracy. In practice the same measuring methods may bring to various calibration results. In the present article professor Levin S. suggests three different solutions for one measurement task.
