Mathematical theory of measurement problems

Record keeping of natural gas consumption, according to the measurements of the physical quantities which characterize the capacities of natural gas when moving in a pipeline, requires the solution of measurement tasks. Their mathematical support and software should be certified by means of experimental determination of inadequacy inaccuracy of the mathematical models used as well as the computing algorithms. These inaccuracies appear as a result of the analytic structure of mathematical models, the methods of their parameters evaluation, measuring inaccuracy and their transformation when calculating. The inaccuracies can be divided into structural, parametric and dimensional.
The following article shows the resolutions of measurement tasks of the determination of the natural gas volume flow basing on the approximation of the “accurate” model.
