Automating test instruments for quicker measurement, control and data analysis

The growing number of technical colleges and universities around the world acknowledges the increasing interest in the engineering profession and education development in this area. Nowadays the measurements become more complex and their implementation requires integration of multiple devices. Professors are considering combining instruments in a single laboratory facility capable of using a computer to perform a wide range of tasks, including measuring, analyzing and storing data, etc. This article describes the principles and ways of implementing this task.
