As usual on May 20 the World Metrology Day is celebrated! And the end of May was marked by the outstanding event in the metrology world connected with this great holiday — 13th Moscow International Innovative Forum «Precision measurements — the basis of quality and safety» which was held on May 17-19 this year. On April 25-27, 2017 in Crocus Expo exhibition center there were 2 anniversary exhibitions held: 15th International exhibition of technologies, equipment and materials for the electronic and electrical industries «ElectronTechExpo» and 20th International exhibition of electronic components, modules and systems «ExpoElectronica ». 10353 visitors from 40 countries attended the exhibitions which is the record number comparing to the previous years! This year this International exhibition of technologies, equipment and materials for the electronic and electrical industries is celebrating its 15th anniversary! Electronica is the international trade fair for electronic components, systems and applications. It is the most important international event gathering and featuring a supporting program with forums and conferences such as Automotive Conference, the Embedded Platforms Conference, IT2Industry and Wireless Congress. March 15 to 17 was the period of two great exhibitions held simultaneously in International exhibition centre Crocus Expo in Moscow. One of them is the 14th International exhibition of technologies, equipment and materials for the electronic and electrical industries Electron- TechExpo and the second one is the 19th International exhibition of electronic components, modules and systems ExpoElectronica. Huge consumer electronics show CES 2016 was held on January 6-9 in Las Vegas, USA, Nevada. Every year this significant event strikes its attendees with a great number of various innovative technologies. Statistical data of 2016 is really impressive: about 3800 exhibitors demonstrated over 20000 developments on the exhibition floor exceeding 750 sq. m. The number of attendees reached 170000, about 50000 of them came from abroad specially to see what’s new on CES 2016. The majority of the demonstrated technologies are no longer fantasy. All these consumer electronics things are real and available for selling!

14th International exhibition of technologies, equipment and materials for the electronic and electrical industries «ElectronTechExpo» will take place in Moscow, Crocus Expo, on March 15-17, 2016. «ElectronTechExpo» is the only exhibition in Russia which allows gathering demand and supply in the foregoing fields in Russia. In 2016 they expect over 100 companies from more than 14 countries of the world. As always, the ElectronTechExpo will take place alongside the 19th International exhibition of electronic components, modules and systems ExpoElectronica.

In October 2015 there were two major exhibitions held in parallel in Hong Kong — Hong Kong Electronics Fair and electronicAsia. The two fairs attracted a total of around 96,000 visitors from about 150 countries and regions, with buyers taking full advantage of Hong Kong’s unique competitive edge in the exhibition industry, demonstrating the fairs leading position as the largest electronics marketplace in the world.

In November 2015 productronica, one of the leading electronics fairs, celebrated its 40th anniversary. The secret to its success: Together with the industry, it has been setting new standards to promote future innovations time and again since 1975. As in the past, this year's productronica gave the industry new momentum. This special show allowed visitors to experience Industry 4.0 live with the help of augmented and virtual reality on five selected electronics-manufacturing machines. Keysight Technologies, Inc. demonstrated a wide range of design, test and characterization solutions at European Microwave Week 2015, Palais des Congres, Booth E 110, Paris, Sept. 8-10. The most attended exhibition in the world International CES 2014 was held in Las Vegas (Nevada state, USA) on January 7-10, 2014. The motto of this year exhibition was «What else could be offered for your smartphone?». In order to meet customers’ requirements and needs manufacturers do their best to offer a huge number of various applications for smartphones. Thus some of the demonstrated applications were really useful, others seemed rather strange at first sight moreover some of them could even puzzle you. After four days, the outcome of the 20th productronica was very positive: About 38,000 visitors from 83 countries participated in the international trade fair for innovative electronics production in Munich. Compared to 2011, there was another sharp increase in the number of visitors from abroad — especially from non-EU countries. Above all, there were large increases in the number of visitors from the Russian Federation, China and Turkey. Overall, the share of international visitors increased from 48 percent to 52 percent. Among other things, the quality of the trade visitors was reflected by concrete business transactions.

International Exhibition of Testing Equipment, Systems and Technologies of Aerospace Industry — Aerospace Testing Russia — is one of the key events for leading specialists representing knowledge- intensive industries. The exhibition was held on October 22-24 and managed to unite over 90 companies from 11 countries. Simultaneously with this exhibition there was one more new exhibition held named Industrial Testing & Control. Also there was two-day All-Russian Scientific- Technical Conference «Metrological Support of Testing and Measurements in Aerospace Industry» where more than 170 specialists of aerospace industry gathered to discuss the most crucial questions of this area.
