Tektronix MSO70000 Wins "Best in Test" 2010 Award

Tektronix MSO70000 Wins "Best in Test" 2010 Award

04/09/2010

Tektronix MSO70000 mixed signal oscilloscope has been named the winner by the readers and editors of Test & Measurement World magazine for its Best in Test 2010 industry awards. The MSO70000 mixed signal oscilloscope beat out five other products in the oscilloscope category. The awards honor products that have brought significant technological advancement to the test industry. For the past 12 years straight Tektronix has been recognized by the “Best in Test” awards as an award winner or finalist, demonstrating strong acknowledgement to the innovation the company is delivering to the design engineering industry.

“The oscilloscope category was very competitive this year,” said Rick Nelson, Test & Measurement World editor-in-chief. “The MSO70000, with its mixed-signal capability, offered the features and bandwidth that made it a favorite of our readers and editors.”

The MSO70000 mixed signal oscilloscope includes 16 logic channels with a very accurate 80ps timing resolution and is the industry’s only performance mixed signal oscilloscope. The MSO70000 also combines industry-leading bandwidth of 20 GHz with the industry's highest waveform capture rate, best signal fidelity, lowest noise floor and the only available hardware-based serial pattern trigger for data rates up to 5 Gb/s.

“It’s an honor to receive this industry recognition and clearly demonstrates the relevance this performance-level mixed signal oscilloscope has on the electrical design community,” said Brian Reich, General Manager, Performance Oscilloscopes, Tektronix. “This win is especially meaningful considering the other notable products we were up against.”
