Agilent Technologies' Infiniium 90000 X-Series Oscilloscope Named Test Product of Year

Agilent Technologies' Infiniium 90000 X-Series Oscilloscope Named Test Product of Year

01/10/2011

Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) announced its Infiniium 90000 X-Series oscilloscopes was named Test Product of the Year at Elektra 2010, the European Electronics Industry Awards.

The Elektra (www.elektraawards.co.uk) awards are decided by an independent panel of judges focused on 16 award categories. The event, considered an annual highpoint within the electronics industry, recognizes the achievements of individuals and companies across Europe. The awards are designed to promote best practices in key areas such as innovation, sales growth and employee motivation. The test and product category is dedicated to the most innovative test equipment during the year. The category is open to hardware and software applications and judged on usability as well as performance. Winners were announced in December 2010 in London.

"The Elektra award win reflects Agilent's commitment to delivering superior technology and value in its broad electronics measurement offering," said Jay Alexander, general manager and vice president of Agilent's oscilloscopes business. "We are honored that the judges selected the Infiniium 90000 X-Series for this prestigious award."

The Agilent 90000 X-Series oscilloscopes are the world's fastest real-time oscilloscopes. They deliver 1) the industry's highest real-time scope measurement accuracy, 2) the industry's only 30-GHz oscilloscope probing system, and 3) the industry's first application-specific measurement software. These oscilloscopes are able to deliver the highest measurement accuracy because they offer the highest true analog bandwidth (32 GHz), the lowest oscilloscope noise floor (2.04 mV at 50 mV/div, 32 GHz), and the lowest jitter measurement floor (150 fs).
