Texas Instruments again recognized among world’s “100 Best Corporate Citizens”

Texas Instruments (TI) Incorporated was recognized among the world's 100 best corporate citizens by Corporate Responsibility (CR) Magazine, ranking 31^st, up from 38^th last year on the magazine's 15^th-annual 100 Best Corporate Citizens List. This is the 12^th time TI has received this honor.

"TI is honored to again be recognized on this prestigious list because it reflects the commitment of our company and our employees to high ethical standards, environmental stewardship and positive social impact," said Trisha Cunningham, TI's chief citizenship officer. "We are proud of the progress we have made in our voluntary disclosures but work closely with our stakeholders to understand their needs as we strive for continuous improvement."

The 100 Best Corporate Citizens List recognizes public companies which had outstanding performance in 2013 in seven areas: environment, climate change, employee relations, human rights, governance, finance, and philanthropy. By reviewing the most influential U.S. public companies drawn from the Russell 1000 Index, the list documents 298 data points of disclosure and performance measures harvested from publicly available information. The methodology is determined by a Ratings and Rankings Committee of the Corporate Responsibility Officers Association.

The 100 Best Corporate Citizens List was first published in 1999 by Business Ethics Magazine and has been managed by CR Magazine since 2007. The report analyzes data on companies collected from public sources, such as websites and sustainability reports.
