Checking the heat-insulated floor operability with AKTAKOM megaohmmeters
Although heat-insulated floor laying process may seem quite easy there are many pitfalls. Skilful installation should guarantee save power cable isolation, absence of circuit fault and short-circuit-ing that is directly connected to the cor-rect operation and save use of heat-insu-lated floor especially indoors with high humidity level. After laying the heat-insu-lated floor it’s recommended to check the resistance of: heating cable and walled-up cable isolation. This measurement task may be solved by using AKTAKOM AM-1018 which combines multimeter and megaohmmeter within one housing.
