Tektronix Named Finalist for "Best in Test" 2010 Awards

02/09/2010

Tektronix, Inc., the world's leading manufacturer of oscilloscopes, announced that its MSO70000 mixed signal oscilloscope was selected by the editors of Test & Measurement World magazine for its Best in Test 2010 industry awards. The MSO70000 mixed signal oscilloscope is one of 6 products receiving the nomination in the oscilloscope category putting it in the running for 2010 Test Product of the Year.

The awards honor products that have brought significant technological advancement to the test industry. The category winners are determined by the magazine’s readers, who vote online between now and February 19, 2010. Ballots are available online at www.tmworld.com/awards.

The MSO70000 mixed signal oscilloscope includes 16 logic channels with a very accurate 80ps timing resolution and is the industry’s only performance mixed signal oscilloscope. The MSO70000 also combines industry-leading bandwidth of 20 GHz with the industry's highest waveform capture rate, best signal fidelity, lowest noise floor and the only available hardware-based serial pattern trigger for data rates up to 5 Gb/s.

“Our editorial team evaluated many innovative products in choosing Best in Test finalists,” said Rick Nelson, Test & Measurement World editor-in-chief. “The Tektronix MSO70000 was an impressive candidate in the oscilloscope category.”

“It is an honor to be recognized by the editors of T&M World as a finalist for the Best in Test 2010 industry awards,” said Brian Reich, vice president, Performance Oscilloscopes, Tektronix. “We value their industry recognition and it’s a testament to our continued focus to offer customers innovative test and measurement products.”
