Which device should be used to measure DC and AC large values in the wire without the circuit break?

To measure current escaping the circuit break they use electrical measuring devices named clamp meters. These devices are equipped with a split magnetic conductor which you may open with a special grip. Placing the device jaws around the wire will allow you to take the current measurement without the circuit break. For AC measurement they usually use clamp meters based on the current transformer. Learn more about Clamp meters from this special article.
