Innovative Booth Makes Headlines at Productronica 2009

At this year's trade show in Munich, Agilent's EMEA Field Marketing team pioneered a new trade show approach and garnered priceless press and television publicity by demonstrating all of its test and measurement instruments remotely. The actual equipment was linked via the Internet and the instruments' LXI interfaces from offices in Munich, Boeblingen and Kronberg, Germany, as well as sites in the U.S. and Asia. The technology allowed visitors to see and test every instrument in Agilent's LXI portfolio.
"Our booth was the talk of the show," said Agilent Germany Sales Manager Hans-Juergen Bochtler. "Visitors, editors, partners and even competitors complimented the concept. This was a tangible demonstration of Agilent as an innovator in test and measurement."
EETimes included the booth in its roundup article, "Eight innovations from Productronica," and the German news channel N24 made a TV spot for broadcast across Germany.
