New High Voltage Probe for TPS2000 Series Oscilloscopes

New High Voltage Probe for TPS2000 Series Oscilloscopes

06/07/2010

Tektronix is pleased to announce a new probe for the TPS2000 Series of oscilloscopes. The new P5122 probe is suitable for floating measurements when used with the TPS2000 Series. Because the P5122 has 100x attenuation, it allows the TPS2000 to measure over a higher voltage range than the existing P5120 probe which has 20x attenuation. This higher attenuation allows a TPS2000 oscilloscope, when equipped with the P5122, to make measurements on 480VRMS electrical systems that are in common use throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.

In addition to the probe itself, Tektronix will offer a new version of the popular power bundle for the TPS2000. The new TPS2PBND2 will combine the TPS2PWR1 Power Application Module, with four of the new P5122 High Voltage Probes. The price will be less than the combined price of the module and the probes. Both the existing P5120 and the existing TPS2PBND will continue to be available.
