Electronica 2008: day 1
Electronica Exibition in Munich successfully start it’s work at bright sunny autumn day. First impressions. In the morning in press-center we met a huge billows of journalists, represented mass media from every corner of the globe. Mixed-language speech, animation and anticipation. I’m sure that the journalist’s expectancies of sensations would be fulfilled.
There is a special program in Germany of supporting a young, innovative companies. Within the bounds of this program the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology supports the German young, innovative companies, for their trade fair participation at Electronica 2008. Each participant of this program can get up to 7,500 euros support. The goal of the German government program is to grant platform for young, innovative companies for establishing the international business contacts, as well as strengthen the position of Germany as the country known by it’s innovations.
Around 2786 companies from every corner of the globe took part at exhibition, among them 267 companies from China. The leading company producing oscilloscopes in China is company RIGOL. It presented on it’s booth some new products.
New DS1000B series oscilloscopes with bandwidth of 60 to 200 GHz and 2 GS/s sampling rate is already known for our readers.
At first time it was announced this spring, but at Electronica exhibition the company presented the equipment of this range with better technical characteristics.
Thus, for example, now all models of this family have 4 channels, and the memory depth increases from 8000 to 16 000 samples per channel.
Unfortunately, the announcement of this brand new for Russian market would be possible only at the turn of the year. Follow our publications.
At the meetings of company executives of electronic industry, almost everybody has announced that nowadays the economic global crisis is not noticed, because now the work on contracts concluded early in the year are almost finished.
A sales slowdown is expected next year. But already now the crisis affects the electronic industry of France. Recently the sales volume on some directions reduces here up to 40%.
