Mathematical theory of measurement problems: applications. GOST R 58771–2019 — one-step forward or to steps back for ISO/IEC 17025–2019

ISO/IEC 17025-2019 «General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories» obliged the entities responsible for testing, calibration and sampling for subsequent tests to objectively assess all of the possible risks. In June 2019 there was ISO 31010:2019 «Risk management — Risk assessment techniques» accepted with updated risk management interpretation. And on December 17 the same year Rosstandart issued an order under ¹1405-ct whereby starting from March 1, 2020 GOST R ISO/IEC 31010–2011 had to be replaced with GOST R 58771–2019 «Risk management. Risk assessment technologies» which also contained updates. How can these changings make impact on ISO/ IEC 17025–2019 and whether they may consider positive you will know from this article by professor S. Levin.
