IMS 2022

IMS 2022

04/25/2022

Organizers are planning a live show, a robust technical program, great social opportunities and Denver is a wonderful place. Several new innovations have been put into place that will make it easier and more beneficial for industry presenters to participate and to tie their work to their exhibits. This will be a great chance to re-establish connections and make new ones. Come explore the peaks of microwave engineering!

There have been several different programs introduced aimed at presenters coming from industry. There will be an Industrial Showcase which will be a reception where papers with industrial authors can present a poster that will showcase their work and they can answer any questions about their work or company. Industry supported papers will have the opportunity to add a slide to their presentation that will acknowledge the industry support and associated booth number (if there is one), a similar mechanism is being set up for Interactive Forum presentations. There will be an industry paper contest. The winner gets a full-page ad in the IEEE Microwave Magazine or Microwave Journal.

New in 2022 will be the Systems Forum. This will be a three-day forum that will bring together the latest in telecommunications, radar and space applications. There will be contributions from MTT-S Sister Societies, RFIC and ARFTG. Organizers will also be continuing the program where the 50 top-ranked papers, as determined by the Technical Paper Review Committee, will be invited to submit the paper to the IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters (MWCL) for publication.
