Keithley Instruments will become part of Tektronix In his letter to customers Joseph P Keithley (President and Chief Executive Officer, Keithley Instruments, Inc.) informed about sales agreement whereby Tektronix will purchase Keithley. The acquisition was announced on September 29, 2010, and is expected to be completed by the end of 2010.

Delayed Time Zero An international team from the Attosecond Physics Laboratory at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics in Garching has discovered a time delay when using light pulses to eject electrons from atoms.
