Metrology. Reference values, measures and inaccuracies

Nowadays everyone will agree that metrology began with material measures, but measures appeared step by step and it happened not in every measurement type. The oldest ones are the measures of length and weight. The measure of capacity also can be considered one of the most ancient. That is why the development of theory and practice has different history and development time. The following article is devoted to metrology, its theory and it includes very interesting history facts.
