Measurement methodology
Usually measurement methodology is associated with State System for Ensuring Uniform Measurement, which in very details describes what is measured and which methods and steps should be taken to get the exact results. But it’s quite wrong to suppose that such methodology has recently appeared. Generally speaking, it throws back to ancientry when people had their own ways to measure things.
