Tektronix’ revolutionary passive probes system offers twice the bandwidth of traditional probes

Your design verification is only as good as your probing systems. Take advantage of Tektronix revolutionary passive probes, providing as the TPP1000/TPP0500 probing system offers twice the bandwidth of traditional probes with half of the capacitive loading.

The TPP1000 and TPP0500 are high bandwidth, general purpose probes from Tektronix that offer breakthrough specifications previously unrealized in this product class. Designed for use with Tektronix MSO/DPO4000B and MSO/DPO5000 Series oscilloscopes, which were just introduced in December 2010, these probes provide up to 1 GHz of analog bandwidth with less than 3.9 pF of capacitive loading.

The extremely low capacitive loading limits adverse affects on your circuits and is more forgiving of longer ground leads. And with the probe’s wide bandwidth, you can see the high frequency components in your signal which is critical for high-speed applications. The TPP1000 and TPP0500 passive voltage probes offer all the benefits of general purpose probes like high dynamic range, flexible connection options, and robust mechanical design, while providing the performance of active probes.

Some unique features of these passive probes:

  • They cover the complete bandwidth of the MSO/DPO4000 and 5000 Oscilloscopes, up to 1GHz
  • High input impedance 10M ohm, 3.9Pf and 10X attenuation provides excellent signal fidelity
  • Robust dynamic range, up to 300v
  • 4 probes come standard with each oscilloscope at no extra cost
